SITUATION Set in approximately 1 ¾ acres of meadow, open ground and light woodland Hill Top Lodge offers peace and a great deal of privacy. With this comes a good degree of accessibility only two or three minutes drive from the A590 trunk road which gives access into Furness, the foot of Lake Windermere and an excellent road network to the M6 J36. With a backdrop of mature woodland the lodge looks out over a gently rising meadow onto a tree scape which opens in the winter giving views toward Coniston Old Man and the surrounding fells. The immediate surroundings are a haven for a variety of wildlife and birdlife.
DIRECTIONS Starting at Haverthwaite on the A590, take a right turn at the crossroads signposted "Bouth, Rusland, Haverthwaite" and continue along the lane to a T-junction, and take the right turn towards "Finsthwaite & Rusland". Follow this road for half a mile turning right beside the cottages signposted "Finsthwaite, Newby Bridge". Follow the road up the hill for 200m and the entrance to Hill Top Lodge is via a brown painted double gate on the left.
