Dating from the 17th Century, 2 Longmire Yeat is charming semi-detached traditional cottage located in the beautiful and picturesque conservation village of Troutbeck. The present owners have undertaken a comprehensive refurbishment programme which has included substantial reconfiguration of the cottage which has been architecturally designed to flood the house with light and ties in beautifully with the original 17th Century cottage character. The sympathetic renovation has retained original features where possible with oak ceiling beams and lintels whilst incorporating high quality modern finishes with oak flooring, traditional style timber double glazing, two excellent bathroom facilities and a superb fitted dining kitchen with multi-fuel stove which provides additional hot water to the immersion and radiators. A second multi-fuel stove in the sitting room provides space heating on the ground floor and has helped create an easy to run property which is equally suited as a permanent home or as a weekend/holiday retreat in a prime village location. The property as a holiday let could achieve up to £22,000 within the first year.
