We offer a wide real estate property register including houses, apartments, hotels, shops etc. We also undertake a broad range of professional valuation and survey work. Based in Windermere and Ambleside we are well placed in Cumbria for covering the central and southern Lake District with the advantages of professional offices and customer parking.

Director David Benjamin is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and a fellow of The National Association of Estate Agents. Matthews Benjamin is the appointed member for the South Lakes area for The Guild of Professional Estate Agents which adheres to a rigorous code of conduct.

Through The Guild of Professional Estate Agents we have access to the lucrative London and international markets with display facilities in The Guild's 2000 square feet showroom which also has 40 feet of window display with touch screen technology. This provides access directly to Matthews Benjamin property register. This is a facility that no other agent in the South Lakes can offer.

David J. Benjamin

B.S.c. M.R.I.C.S

David is a director of the company having started in estate agency in 1981 and later qualifying as a chartered surveyor.

Practising with the well known company Thompson Matthews he joined forces with Peter Matthews in 1993 to form Matthews Benjamin acquiring key premises in Windermere and Ambleside. 

Mike Dacre

Born in Windermere and with over 25 years experience in estate agency Michael manages the Windermere office. 

Matt Dixon

B.A. (Hons)

Coming from Ambleside Matt is a valuer and negotiator with strong local knowledge. He is currently studying for an RJCS qualification.
